On behalf of management, we are delighted to announce a new installation of solar panels on the rooftop of the building in June 2022. The CornerStone Building is now officially the first office building that integrates the renewable energy into the daily working.
In June 2022, solar panels were installed on the roof of the Cornerstone Building to begin generating electricity. Solar Energy is a plentiful, reliable and renewable energy source and is also the cleanest type of energy since it is pollution free and contributes to the reduction of carbon emissions associated with electricity use.
In addition, by acquiring the Green Power Certificate “I-REC”(*), which is compatible with RE 100, the company expects to achieve virtually 0 CO2 emissions associated with electricity use by using renewable energy generated in Vietnam as the source of all electricity used in the Cornerstone Building in fiscal 2022. The Cornerstone Building will continue our market leader position in office building market in regards convenience, comfort and environmental friendliness.
(*) International Renewable Energy Certificate. A renewable energy power certificate certified and issued by “a set of rule books and an electronic tracking system based on them” provided by The I-REC Standard, a non-profit organization.
